Osprey, Fla. (August 15, 2006) -- Sarasota County’s highly anticipated mixed-use development, Bay Street Village & Towncenter, has launched a redesigned web site. With a new look and flow, now offers a more reflective feel of the community.

“We’re excited about the new fresh and clean look of the site,” said Ray Rodriguez, real estate broker for the community. “The new design really reflects the atmosphere of what Bay Street Village & Towncenter is all about, which is clean and healthy living.”

The site’s new look supports and emphasizes an array of content within the site, including area demographics, useful information about the live, work, play lifestyle concept, and photos of construction progress. Residential and commercial space floor plans are also featured on the site, and more will be added to the site with the release of new buildings.

“As we progress and new buildings are released, the site and its fresh look will really showcase Bay Street’s uniqueness. The convenience of living or working in the village-type community -where someone can find 80 percent of their daily needs without having to get in a car – will become more and more apparent,” said Rodriguez.

The anticipated groundbreaking for Bay Street Village & Towncenter is October 2006.

Bay Street Village & Towncenter is Sarasota County’s newest ‘pedestrian’ community with opportunities for living, shopping, working, and civic and cultural activities within the 45-acre mixed-use development. Residential plans include approximately 50 condominiums in the Bay Street Village Towncenter Residences, as well as the bordering Bay Street Village Residences, which will offer 550 condominium residences under development by Waterford Companies, a Venice-area developer. In addition, Bay Street Village & Towncenter will offer approximately 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 58,000 square feet of professional office offerings and a Village Green designated as a community area for public gatherings, small festivals and other outdoor events. A 25,000 square-foot public library will also be developed adjacent to the Village Green. The community is under development by Crossgate Partners.
